What to do with Four Corners

You have to be deliberately blind not to notice a growing resentment of the political quicksand pit that is Four Corners. The area has seen hundreds of millions of dollars spent on what amounts to approximately 4 square blocks of real estate, owned mostly by either the City itself, or slumlords who don’t appear to be going anywhere or selling their properties to make room for gentrification anytime soon. The problem seems to be self perpetuating. The government spends more money to enrich the landlords who aren’t spending any, leaving the area no better than it was, forcing the government to throw ore good after bad.

Whether the population of Brampton continues to tolerate the quagmire of dollars being spent, year after year, will be a big theme in the upcoming 2018 election.
